christmas ornaments

i don't know what happened to me this year but i'm not excited about thanksgiving at all, i'm all about christmas right now, and especially christmas ornaments, i like to make my own, but they're usually more on the elementary school crafty level (like my hello kitty tree from two years ago, with red glitter bows) but this year i want to make sophisticated-crafty ones, like so...

 and i'll get a one foot tree so i don't have to make that many.

dentista rubi

this is the piece i have up at the giant robot biennale group show, ever since i got back from guatemala earlier this year i wanted to make a dentist office inspired by the ones i saw there, i loved the paintings of teeth & gums outside the offices.
