happy monday

i started a week long project today! it's inspired by a freeway overpass i drive by often. this particular overpass always has personal messages like "i love you bob" or "happy birthday cindy" attached to the chain link fence. it's like a public message board. i love reading these messages even though they're not meant for me, i still like knowing that someone out there loves bob, and that it's cindy's birthday today. so i wanted to throw my little message up there too but i didn't want a message only intended for one person, i wanted something that every commuter could enjoy. so each day until friday i'll be putting up a little banner, today i put up "happy monday", unfortunately today's banner got stolen (i could tell by the way the string was torn) i was really bummed out at first but i'm okay with it now, it's part of the project, i guess once something is out in the public like that, it's up for grabs :|
